Charlie White found guilty |
Hamilton County, Ind.—
Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White was found guilty on six of seven charges against him early Saturday morning.White was found not guilty of the most serious charge, fraud of a financial institution, a class C felony.
White appeared dejected after a long fight maintaining his innocence against voter fraud allegations.
White is accused of listing his ex-wife's address in another voting precinct across town. However, White claims he had an agreement with his former wife to use her condo as his legal residence before he re-married and bought a new home.
Governor Daniels named Jerry Bonnet interim secretary of state.
