The parents of the victim in the Carmel assault case held a news conference Friday. They told the media they felt the charges against the four former Carmel High School basketball players were too soft, especially since a report by the Department of Child Services specifically outline the sexual nature of the attacks in detail.

The teens, Brandon Hoge, Scott Laskowski, Robert Kitzinger, and Oscar Falodun were arrested after some of their former teammates claimed they were attacked on a team bus and in a Carmel High School locker room.

The report also states the victim tried to call out for help to coaches at the front of the bus, saying "I guess they didn't hear me."
