Indianapolis Metro Police say two children were hurt after a semi-truck crash on the city’s south side.

Around 8:30 a.m., the semi-truck crashed into a minivan at the intersection of Shelby and Raymond Streets.

Two boys ages 6 and 8, were hurt in the crash.  One is in critical condition at Riley Hospital.  The other boy is in stable condition with a possible broken arm.  Their mother, Reyna Murillo, was driving. She was not injured.

The semi-truck is from Roadmaster Driver School. The student driver and trainer were not hurt.

A witness told investigators the semi-truck had the green light going through that intersection.
