Indianapolis—
Indianapolis Metro Police say two children were hurt after a semi-truck crash on the city’s south side.
Around 8:30 a.m., the semi-truck crashed into a minivan at the intersection of Shelby and Raymond Streets.
Two boys ages 6 and 8, were hurt in the crash. One is in critical condition at Riley Hospital. The other boy is in stable condition with a possible broken arm. Their mother, Reyna Murillo, was driving. She was not injured.
The semi-truck is from Roadmaster Driver School. The student driver and trainer were not hurt.
A witness told investigators the semi-truck had the green light going through that intersection.
