The Department of Child Services now has custody of a toddler who wandered out of a room at an area hotel.
Officials were called to the Motel 6 at High School and Crawfordsville Roads around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The 14-month-old had been left alone for less than an hour when he or she was able to get out of the room.
Neighbors saw the child and found the mother.
No arrests have been made yet.
