Funeral held for couple killed in explosion

An educational fund has been created in their honor.

Hundreds gathered to honor a couple killed in the explosion on the city's south side.

Dion and Jennifer Longworth were laid to rest following a funeral service at Saint Barnabas Catholic Church, the same church they were married in.

Jennifer Longworth was a second grade teacher at Southwest Elementary School in Greenwood. The school was closed Monday so that students and staff could attend the funeral.

Dion Longworth worked for Indy Audio Labs for more than a decade.

An educational fund has been created in their honor.

Investigators have also offered $11,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction for the crime.
