An Anderson man convicted of molesting two females was sentenced to 88 years in prison Wednesday.
Henry Parkhurst, 68, was out on bond for two other sexual cases when he molested an 8-year-old girl and her mentally disabled aunt. Parkhurst admitted to police that he also taped the assaults.
When police arrested him back in October 2011, he was carrying memory cards and a video camera.
The victims' family said Parkhurst would frequently take the girl and her 20-year-old aunt on bike rides. He reportedly told the victims that he would send the aunt to a mental institution if they told anyone.
The judge sentenced Parkhurst to the maximum sentence due to the nature of his crimes.
