Police in Marion arrest a man accused of trying to abduct a 10-year-old girl Saturday afternoon.
Investigators say Gary Wilder, 51, drove up to the girl at First and Baldwin just after 4 p.m. They say he then tried to get her inside his car. She got away and he sped off.
Another driver who witnessed the incident chased Wilder, who ran a stop sign, lost control of his car and crashed.
Wilder was taken to the Grant County Jail.
