Thousands of people were at the Convention Center Thursday, rapidly working to finish putting together the NFL experience.
The NFL Experience opens Friday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m.
"This is our go time. We have all hands on deck," Director of Events, Christine Mills said. "This will definitely be done. I have no worries in my mind. We've done this before and it always looks like this the day before," she continued.
She led a media tour through the Convention Center Thursday to point out the different attractions fans will be able to see and do. This NFL Experience is a (large) event, a (large) football event and the object of the event is to bring the fans closer to the game of football," Mills said.
Mill said people should have a plan before attending the event. She said it will take fans anywhere from 4-5 hours to see it all. The NFL Experience takes up 850,000 square feet of the Convention Center. Parents can take their kids to the Rush Zone. The Rush Zone is for kids 3-10.
"This is a popular hall for the parents to bring their children," she said. "Kids can actually sit down and listen to their favorite story ready by an NFL player," she continued.
People can walk through the Vince Lombardi Trophy Hall where the trophy will be displayed and fans will be able to take a picture next to it.
"You'll never see the Vince Lombardi trophy anywhere else other than on TV being handed to the Super Bowl Champion team," Mills said.
There will also be a section where fans can analyze plays. They can pick the game and the quarter and rewind it. Fans will be able to do many more things, including trying to get an autograph at the autograph stage. There is an area that features the sponsor pavilion, which is an additional 110,000 square feet.
There are plenty of tickets. People can get them online at www.superbowl.com, Ticketmaster or at the box office on-site. Before anyone can enjoy the NFL Experience, though, they have to sign a waiver form. The waiver form will be available online or you can sign it once you are at the Convention Center.
