Police say the home of missing woman Dorothy Heard was burglarized Tuesday evening.
According to police, neighbors notified authorities of suspicious activity around the home at 9:30 p.m. When police arrived on the scene, they found the front door forced open and the house rummaged through.
Police say jewelry was taken from the home.
So far, police have no suspects in the burglary.
Heard was last seen on June 13. Her granddaughter was also abducted, but was found safe later.
Police have questioned Donald Burns, Heard’s nephew, as a person of interest, but he has not been charged with her disappearance. However, Burns was arrested for resisting law enforcement.
Police say they believe Burns made charges on Heard’s credit card around the time of her disappearance.
