National conservative group backs Richard Mourdock for senate

Senate candidate Richard Mourdock beat incumbent Senator Richard Lugar in two straw polls over the weekend.
Mourdock won in polls in Delaware and Henry Counties.
Combining the results of both of the polls, Mourdock received 61 votes. Senator Lugar only received 8 votes.
Voting was limited to Republican committee members.
