Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced Friday that she is throwing her support behind Richard Mourdock.
The current state treasurer is battling Richard Lugar for a seat in the U.S. Senate. Lugar has held the seat for the last six terms. In fact, Lugar's the longest-serving republican u-s senator in the nation.
Lugar’s received an endorsement from Palin’s former running mate, John McCain, as well as Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels.
