Hundreds of seniors throughout Central Indiana are getting a helping hand to beat the heat.
Senior Helpers are passing out summer senior survival kits to their clients. The kits are meant to meet basic needs, but they can be very useful in weather like this.
Kits include a water bottle, sunscreen, battery-operated fan, vitamins and emergency phone numbers for each specific client.
