Indiana State Police have arrested four people for allegedly stealing scrap metal from southern Indiana towns devastated by tornadoes in early March.
Darrell and Debora Crone, both from New Albany, Ind., were arrested last Friday and incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on theft charges. Police said the couple stole scrap metal from different locations among the tornado wreckage.
Darrell, 47, was charged with theft, a Class D felony. Debora, 52, was charged with theft, as well as possession of a legend drug and possession of controlled substance, all Class D felonies.
Late Sunday evening, police said two men from Austin, Ind. were arrested for allegedly taking scrap metal near Henryville, Ind.
Douglas Sizemore, 44, and David Sizemore, 37, were arrested and charged with theft and criminal trespass. They were booked into the Clark County Jail.
