Storms leave line of damage behind in Montgomery Co.

Indianapolis

It was a busy night across Central Indiana as severe storms made their way from west to east Thursday.

The storms left a line of damage behind them.  There was some pea-sized hail in Montgomery County, in the town of Ladoga, which is just to the south of Crawfordsville.

The hail fell just after 8 p.m.  The storm also flooded streets and knocked down a tree. It rolled through the area as Bill McIntyre was watching T.V.  Bill said when his signal started to go out he knew something big was rolling in.

"Then the T.V. starting flashing in and out, the thunder was cracking pretty bad, then all of a sudden the wind picked up and it started to hail," said McIntyre.  "It sounded like someone was pounding on the windows."

The power was out in Ladoga, at McIntyre's house, after the storms rolled through.  A number of his neighbors were also left in the dark.

McIntyre said he was just thankful the storm was not any worse.

No injuries were reported.
