As visitors to the Super Bowl Village got a closer look at every stage going up, every banner being hung and turf being combed through, one thing made them stop, stare and point Wednesday.
It was the zip line. Seeing these experts, racing down the line at speeds up to 40 miles per hour had an affect on everyone watching. For some, it confirmed the adrenaline rush was not for them.
"I would be the person watching," laughed one woman.
For others, like Lisa Tucker, watching someone else do it was just the motivation she needed.
"I just might do it," said Tucker. "We are going to come down Friday night, the 27th, and see what it is all about, so it is a possibility."
As final preparations are made to the zip line, other parts of the village are also taking shape. The Vortex Dome was blown up, from the ground up, in just a few minutes. It will be home to the XBOX 360 EA Sports Experience. Tucker said she is just glad to be here to see it.
"It is awesome for the community and state," said Tucker. "It is really awesome to be local and see it transformed. It has been a wonderful experience."
