A Marion County judge has ordered a temporary water slide must cease operations immediately.
The city said "The Thriller" is putting its employees, visitors and the public at large in danger because of fire code violations, including multiple unprotected extension cords and electrical splitters in close proximity to the attraction.
Officers delivered a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to owner Patrick Stern Friday afternoon.
Multiple members of the community have complained about the attraction, which is located in the 3900 block of Kevin Way.
The order also said Stern failed to obtain appropriate permits and is in violation of commercial zoning laws.
City officials also recently told Stern that he is violation of several city codes and will likely have to move his temporary operation.
The Department of Code Enforcement said the attraction lacked proper parking, showers and a way to drain dirty water away from patrons. Officials also said Stern lacked special permission from the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development.
A hearing will be held next Wednesday to determine what course of action will be taken.
