Another one of the four Carmel basketball players accused of assault on a younger classmate is expected to plead guilty. Robert Kitzinger will be in court Monday where he is expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal recklessness.
Kitzinger will be the third of the four accused players to agree to a plea deal. Kitzinger is accused of assaulting a teammate in a locker room at the high school.
He could still face charges in Hendricks County for a hazing incident that took place on a team bus following an away game last winter. Fox59 News learned Hendricks County Prosecutor Patricia Baldwin will file battery charges against Kitzinger and another player, Brandon Hoge.
