The trial of a former Carmel High School student accused of assault is put on hold. Brandon Hoge was set to be tried next week on misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal recklessness.

Noblesville, Ind.—

The trial of a former Carmel High School student accused of assault is put on hold. Brandon Hoge was set to be tried next week on misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal recklessness.

Both sides in the case wanted to move the trial from December 9th to February 24th. They filed the continuance because the judge is out of town next week.

A trial is set for later this month for another accused player, Oscar Falodun. Sources say Falodun is expected to take a plea deal similar to the one former teammate Scott Laskowski agreed to.
