Two arrested on charges of manufacturing meth

Wayne Delong and Shawn Henry are both facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Dearborn County, Ind.

Two people were arrested for manufracturing methamphetamine in Dearborn County Thursday.

Indiana State Police served a search warrant in the 2800 block of Pin Hook Road. Officers said they found an active meth and marijuana lab.

Wayne Delong and Shawn Henry are both facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Authorities want to remind the general public that the chemicals to manufacture meth are extremely dangerous.

"About a week earlier Delong caught himself on fire while involved in manufacturing a batch of meth," said Trooper Jeremy Franklin.

Any citizen who smells a chemical odor, sees empty drain containers, discarded cofee filters with pasty resident, empty blister packs, lithium batteries or any other suspicious looking trash should contact authorities immediately at 800-453-4756.
