Corey Greenwood walked out of Marion County's Arresting Processing Center just after 2 p.m. Friday, but he was not in the mood to talk. In fact, when he saw our cameras, he took off sprinting.

The Washington High School Assistant Principal faces four preliminary charges of child seduction for allegedly having sex with a student. According to IMPD reports, an anonymous female student said Greenwood was having sex with another student and she had text message proof. IMPD investigated and Greenwood was arrested and booked Friday morning.
"I have no comment," said Greenwood. "I am going to let my lawyers do the talking."
At the school, students, even fellow teachers said the news of their vice principal's arrest came out of nowhere.
"It's pretty crazy," said one student.
"Everybody makes mistakes and we're all human beings and this is a very unfortunate situation," said substitute teacher Bob Murley.
"He always helped out with my family," said Washington High School Junior Erica Hume. "When my brother and sister got in trouble, he would help them so they could get out of trouble."
Now Greenwood finds himself in trouble, he is suspended, with pay, until the legal process works itself out.
Parent Charna Furguson said the worst part is seeing how situations like this affect kids. She knows it is tough on them when someone in the school system, who they know and respect, is arrested.
"I feel for the kids more than anybody," said Furguson. "Who is going to police the vice principals and teachers? Somebody needs to watch their conduct and police them and make sure the kids are safe."
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office said formal charges against Greenwood have not been filed yet. They are expected to be filed late next week.
