New energy tax incentives will help you sell more windows and doors!

The new American Recovery & Reinvestment Act 2009, signed by President Obama on February 17, includes a major consumer TAX CREDIT that can really help you sell more ENERGY STAR qualified Gorrell windows and doors!

Tax Credit increased from $200 to $1500!!

This new law increases the homeowner tax credit to 30 percent of the cost of qualifying energy-efficient upgrades - with a maximum of $1500 per household for 2009 and 2010!  These upgrades include ENERGY START qualified windows and doors that have a U-value of at least 0.30 and solar heat gain coefficient of a least a 0.30.

This credit is a substantial increase from the previous incentive, which capped the credit at $200 for ENERGY STAR qualified windows - and covered 2009 only.

Based on average replacement window project costs, this credit can mean a 20% discount to you!  It is good for busienss, for homeowners, and for America!
