Fable Heroes

It takes a special feat of incompetence to mess up a four-player beat-'em-up that features a level in which players kick exploding chickens at one another. "Fable Heroes" has accomplished just that. Not to be confused with the upcoming "Fable: The Journey" for Kinect, this downloadable title on-the-cheap asks you to guide tiny puppet heroes into battle against familiar "Fable" foes with your friends for the sake of gold coins that can be transferred into the "The Journey." But collecting said gold means slogging through the boring and very repetitive game play of "Heroes." You'd probably have more fun making your own puppets or pretending to kick phantom chickens by yourself instead.
