also compare #3 and #4.  more photo-chopping

Please compare photos 1 and 10.  

 It appears to me that the walkway has been photo-chopped out of the 10th picture to accent the spectacular ice draping.  

  If that is the case I feel that this steps over the line and should be clearly identified as a substantially altered artistic image.   Artistic yes, but not factual and it has been presented in a news context.   An internal examination of graphic ethics is clearly in order
