I am a native NEW YORKER and have been living in south bend for about 15 years. To see what has happened to the big apple in that time is very disheartning. I am a fan of the KNICKS and the RANGERS... but that's all. I love it here in south bend and am a diehard NOTRE DAME fan and the fact they are "NUMBER 1" and playing in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, really makes me happy. But I know the good people of NY and NJ will bounce back.
