SOUTH BEND -- When it comes to sports, rivals Penn and Mishawaka know each other all too well. They'll add to that chapter on Tuesday in the 4-A softball sectional semi-final.

Penn blanked Adams 6-0 behind Monica Palicki's two-hit effort.

Jen Alter's game-winning RBI delivered Mishawaka a 1-0 win over Clay.

The two teams will meet again on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Washington and Riley meet in the other game. Winners will return to LaSalle Academy for the championship game Saturday at 7 p.m.
