SOUTH BEND (AP) — Notre Dame football coach Charlie Weis says tight end Will Yeatman will be allowed to practice but he won't be allowed to play until prosecutors decide the outcome of alcohol-related charges he faces.

Yeatman and center Mike Golic Jr. were among 37 people arrested on preliminary alcohol charges at a weekend party. Police say the 20-year-old Yeatman faces preliminary charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor, false informing and resisting arrest.

It's the second time Yeatman has been charged with an alcohol-related offense.

The 18-year-old Golic faces a preliminary charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor. Golic, who's a freshman, has not yet played.
