SOUTH BEND --- Ten-year-old Maurice Scott, Jr. has been riding shotgun for this entire run by the SB Washington girls basketball team. And what a ride it has been!

Mo Jr., as he is called, is the son of head coach Maurice Scott, Sr. and the brother to star player Skylar Diggins.

Speaking with the maturity of a person far beyond his years, Mo Jr. talked about how the team has worked hard to get to the state finals, how watching his sister has inspired him to be a good person himself, and how he plans on the Lady Panthers going "for 100 points" against Ben Davis in Indy on Saturday night.

Mo Jr. plays plenty of basketball himself, and in a few years, could very well have some youngster saying and watching the same thing for his own team.
