Memorial advances to Regional final

MICHIGAN CITY - Karvel Anderson scored 16 points and Robert Fitzsimmons hit four clutch free throws in the final minute and change, leading Elkhart Memorial to a 46-43 win over Valparaiso in the 4-A regional semifinals.

Memorial will play Munster tonight at 8:30 ET for the regional title. Munster beat South Bend Clay in the early game, 44-34.

In Class 3-A, Rochester beat Griffith 68-50. The Zebras will play Gary Roosevelt at 8:30 in the Plymouth regional final.

In Class 2-A, North Judson beat Wheeler 56-44 to win the early semifinal. Westview defeated Garrett 55-52. The two teams will play for the regional title, at North Judson, tonight at 8:30.

In Class-A, defending state champion Triton beats Bethany Christian 58-47, to advance to the title game. The Trojans will host Bowman Academy tonight at 7:30.
