1986 - Northern State claimed the NIC wrestling championship. Mike Wiley, Dave Harvey, John Trevett and Tim Weisz won individual titles for the Wolves.
1991 - The Northern State men's basketball team stopped Moorhead State 75-69 on the road. Doug Vietor led the Wolves with 22 points.
1996 - Jim Sumption tossed in 37 points to lead Frederick to a 75-72 victory over Langford in the first round of the District 2B high school basketball tournament. Josh Hewitt led Langford with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
2001 - Brett Jensen and Pete Siegling scored 15 points each and Tony Farmen added 13 to lead Redfield to a 61-50 high school basketball victory over Warner. Jared Johnson's 16 points topped Warner.
2006 - Michael Vick tossed a TD pass to Algea Crumpler, Derrick Brooks returned an interception for a touchdown and Neil Rackers booted three field goals as the National Conference defeated the American Conference 23-17 in the annual Pro-Bowl game.
2010 - David Westby tossed in 15 points to lead four Golden Eagles in double figures as Aberdeen Central handed Brandon Valley a 70-56 high school basketball setback. Jared Hannigan added 14 to the Central total, Andrew Janish had 13 and Spencer Flakus finished with 11.
