Addison DeHaven of Brookings has been selected the Gatorade South Dakota Boys’ Cross Country Runner of the Year. The junior won the Class AA state championship this past fall and earned 10th place at the Nike Cross Nationals Heartland Regional Championships. He also finished 23rd at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional Championships. DeHaven now is a finalist for the National Runner of the Year award, which will be announced in the near future.
