Greenway is the first Vikings linebacker named to back-to-back Pro Bowls since Scott Studwell in 1987 and 1988. He led the Vikings in tackles for a fifth consecutive season, recording 191, most in the NFL. The strong-side linebacker also had three sacks, intercepted a pass and recovered two fumbles for a vastly improved Vikings defense.
Greenway, who turns 30 today, is the fifth Vikings player named to the Pro Bowl, joining running back Adrian Peterson, fullback Jerome Felton, defensive end Jared Allen and kicker Blair Walsh. The game will be played at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 on NBC.
