Sioux Falls Storm quarterback Chris Dixon announced Monday that he has signed with the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League, ending a successful two-year stint with Sioux Falls’ Indoor Football League powerhouse.
Dixon, a three-time league MVP, had re-signed with the Storm in September but decided that he couldn’t pass up an offer to play in the AFL. Last season, Dixon led Sioux Falls to an unbeaten season and its sixth national championship. The league MVP completed 268-of-363 passes for 3,321 yards and 67 touchdowns with only seven interceptions during the regular season. He also rushed 118 times for 711 yards and 30 TDs.
