From the moving glass wall to the club level. To the Fox Sports outdoor studio to the Walmart across the street. It could be heard.
"Jerry Sucks, Jerry Sucks," chanted a hoard of people stuck behind a fence on one end of the stadium, yelling at guards who had told them their tickets weren't valid.
A twist of fate-or the ruling of a fire marshal-determined that 2,500 seats added temporarily to Cowboys Stadium for Super Bowl XLV were in fact unsafe and couldn't seat people for the game between the Packers and the Steelers.
The news of the snafu spread quickly around the stadium just like the cheers of "Jerry Sucks." These fans-who paid at the very least $800 dollars for the spot-became the object of sympathy for those in Arlington and those around the nation.
Eventually most of them got in, but not all got seats, meaning that trip for some in the thousands produced zero views of what turned out to be an entertaining contest.
