Notre Dame survives at DePaul 79-71

As everything else did in overtime Saturday, the ball came Eric Atkins' way. To the misfortune of his eye socket, so did the flailing fingers of DePaul's Worrel Clahar. One inadvertent gouge from Clahar had Notre Dame's point guard grimacing and squinting his way to the free throw line, the day officially leaving a digital imprint.
