WILLIAMSPORT — Sophomore Jasmine Rafter made a splash in her varsity debut, hitting a walk-off solo home run in the seventh inning to send the Wildcats to a season-opening 5-4 win over Manchester Valley on Tuesday.
Kayla Ewing hit two two-run home runs — one in the fourth, the other in the sixth — for Williamsport (1-1), which gave coach Jennie Finafrock her first victory.
Ariah Giles notched the win in the circle with seven strikeouts.
