YOUTH BASEBALL
HANCOCK — Gabe Stotler had three hits, including a three-run home run, and finished with four RBIs on Tuesday to lead Hancock to an 8-3 victory over Conococheague in a Maryland District 1 9-10 Tournament losers’ bracket game.
Justice Allen and Hopper Fink had two hits each for Hancock. Josh Golden struck out six.
Hancock will travel to West End on Wednesday night at 6 for another losers’ bracket game.
Justin Taylor doubled in the first inning for Conococheague.

West End 18, Clear Spring 1
Chase McCoy and Joseph Ringus had three hits each to lead West End past Clear Spring in five innings in a first-round game.
Butchie Sisler, Xavier Dominguez, Mike Collazo and Bransyn Dillinger had two hits each, Will Grove had six strikeouts and Grove and Ringus combined on a three-hitter for West End, which will play Valley at Halfway in the winners’ bracket final Wednesday night at 6.
