BOONSBORO — Claudia Jenkins and Tiffany Bowman combined to score all the points in Boonsboro’s 10-2 run to open the third quarter as the Warriors knocked off Catoctin (9-7, 6-4) in an MVAL Antietam game Tuesday.
The Warriors (10-6, 7-3) held a 17-16 at the half before working the ball inside to use their height advantage. Jenkins and Bowman scored all the points of the run off offensive rebounds.
Jenkins finished with 12 points to go with eight rebounds and four steals, while Bowman managed eight points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Shannon O’Brien had nine points and 11 rebounds.

The Hawks (20-2) were ranked 12th in the newest NJCAA Division I poll, the highest rating in school history.
HCC is two voting points shy of overtaking Northwest Florida State, which opened the season at No. 1.
The Hawks host Essex on Saturday.
