NOTRE DAME — During the month of April the Notre Dame baseball team is scheduled to play nine games on the road, in five different cities. During that stretch, they'll likely spend more time on a bus than they will on the field.

So, how do they pass the time?

As you might expect, many players take advantage of the opportunity to study, and stay caught up on their school work.

For others, its a chance to sleep, or visit with teammates.

And you can always expect a certain amount of good-natured fun when you cram 30+ college guys on a bus ride for an extended period of time.

Last week, WSBT Sports' Pete Byrne accompanied the Irish on one of their bus trips, to see what life is like on the road!
