Irish Baseball 5th seed in Big East tournament

The Notre Dame baseball team wrapped up the Big East regular season Saturday with a 15-12 conference record, earning the Irish the #5 seed in this week's Big East tournament.

Despite a 10-6 loss on Saturday, in which junior AJ Pollock belted two home runs, the Irish win the series over St. John's.

The two teams will meet again in the 1st round of the Big East tournament in Clearwater, Florida. The game is Tuesday at 10:00 am ET.

Notre Dame has won 7 of their last 9 games. The Irish have also winning records against each of the top four seeds in the bracket.
