ND Softball eliminated in NCAAs

ANN ARBOR - The Notre Dame softball team lost to Michigan, 4-0, and was eliminated from he NCAA softball tournament.

The game was much closer than the score indicated. Notre Dame trailed 1-0 in the 6th, and had the bases loaded, but couldn't score the tying run.

Michigan then answered with three insurance runs in the top of the 7th to pad their lead.

The Irish finished the season with a 43-17 record.
