NOTRE DAME --- You can add the term "cosmopolitan" as another way to describe the Notre Dame womens basketball team, this after their recent trip to Europe.

The team returned Tuesday after a 10-day trip where they did everything from going up in the Eiffel Tower to touring The Coliseum in Rome.

Muffet McGraw spoke on behalf of the team and commented that things were so different yet so the same, and that the food was amazing.

Another highlight of the trip came when most of the team went and saw the movie "Angels and Demons" in Italy, just so they could say that they have seen most of the sights in that movie.

And with all the gelato they ate, McGraw kidded that she would try to see if the new Joyce Center concession stands would be able to offer that for their fans!
