Harangody works out for Bulls

CHICAGO — Luke Harangody worked out for the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, as part of his ongoing preparation for the NBA Draft.

A draft, he still doesn't know, if he'll be a part of.

"Its going to be a difficult decision," Harangody told reporters at the Berto Center. "There's a lot of positives on both sides. Either decision would be a good one. Right now I'd say 50/50."

Rules permit underclassmen to declare for the NBA Draft and then back out and return to college. The deadline for doing so in June 15th at 5 p.m., this coming Monday.

Teams have told Harangody that he would be anywhere from a late first round to early 2nd round pick. Harangody has worked out for seven NBA teams so far and has one workout remaining this weekend with New Jersey. He thinks he would be a good fit in Chicago.

"I think I'd be a great fit for the Bulls. They need a player like me. A tough, physical interior player who can go outside and shoot."

Harangody admits there's still a very good chance he'll be back at Notre Dame, and likely won't make up his mind until the final day.

"I have to do what's best for myself and my family. There's still a strong chance I may go back to Notre Dame. People will know Monday."
