Cincinnati QB commits to Notre Dame

By WSBT News1

Quarterback Andrew Hendrix of Moeller High in Cincinnati will play his college football at Notre Dame, the Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting on its Web site.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Hendrix is the sixth player to verbally commit to the Irish recruiting class of 2010. He chose ND over Ohio State.

Notre Dame also received a verbal commitment from Blake Lueders, late Thursday night.

Lueders is 6-foot-3, 250-pounds from Zionsville. He picked Notre Dame over Stanford, Boston College and Northwestern.

Read more about Hendrix’s and Lueders' commitment in Friday’s South Bend Tribune.
