Frazer returns to Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME - Zach Frazer always dreamed of starting at quarterback in Notre Dame Stadium. This Saturday he gets his chance. For the other team.

Frazer spent his freshman year at Notre Dame, but transferred after being told by head coach Charlie Weis he finished fourth in the four-man competition to replace Brady Quinn in May 2007.

Frazer returns to campus this weekend as ther starter for the visiting Huskies.

"I'm glad to see him playing," Weis said. "I just hope he doesn't play very well this week."

Since taking over the starting job at UConn, Frazer is 40-of-78 passing for 594 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in the past towo games.
