Phillip Lazenby of Kenai, Alaska caught his winning fish on the second day of the nine-day Seward Silver Salmon Derby, but he had a few nervous moments before finally being able to celebrate his win Sunday night.

Lazenby, whose 19.15 pound coho held up as the winner, endured one serious challenge from Anchorage's Tom Harmer.  A silver caught by Harmer on Thursday weighed in at 19.02 pounds, just short of the title.

Lazenby lands $10,000 for winning the 56th annual derby, while Harmer collects $5,000 for his efforts.  Both anglers caught their fish at Caines Head.  The top 10 fish all weighed at least 15 pounds.
