SOUTH BEND — Cody Henson's hook shot with 13 seconds left was the difference Monday night at Clay High School as Riley edged Washington, 61-59, to claim the Class 4-A South Bend boys basketball sectional title.

With their first sectional crown since 2003, the Wildcats (20-5) advance to play Warsaw (14-8) Saturday at 11 a.m. EST in the opening game of the Michigan City Regional.

Kennis White's running eight foot jumper bounced off the rim in the closing seconds for the Panthers (17-6).
Lee Ross netted 17 points, Larry King added 12, and Henson had 10 for Riley.
Jourdan Vann paced Washington with 17 points, White had 13, and Jarrett Fleming tallied 12 and hauled down 10 rebounds for Washington.
