PLYMOUTH — After school board approval on Thursday night, Plymouth has itself a new boys basketball coach in Kevin Stuckmeyer.

Stuckmeyer played for the Pilgrims for four years before graduating in 2001. The 25-year-old first time head coach recently assisted at Logansport High School under former and long-time Warsaw coach Al Rhodes.

Plenty of individuals at the meeting voiced their opinions in favor of former coach Jack Edison. The legendary former coach had re-applied for his old position, but was not granted an interview by Plymouth officials.

Edison guided the Pilgrims to two state titles before giving way to his son Michael. Michael resigned his position in the fall after coming under fire for reported misuse of the school's computers.
