SOUTH BEND — Anthony Johnson stands for what is good at South Bend Adams. The former multi-sport athlete excelled on and off the athletic fields, and continues to do so today. It's part of the reason why his football jersey was retired by the school.

Johnson, currently the team chaplain for the NFL's Jacksonville Jags, played on the last NIC football team to topple Penn before going on to star for Notre Dame and various professional teams.

Johnson was in South Bend earlier in the summer to be inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

A.J. has class, now where is Lamont Clark, his partner in the backfield. Lamont Clark(if he'd studied) could have gone just as far.
