SOUTH BEND -- The flag football game has become an annual fan favorite at the College Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement weekend.

And a little rain wasn't going to stop it. After all, these are football players.

Names that include Doug Flutie, Anthony Thompson and John Randle braved the unseasonal elements on the gridiron, and put on a show for hundreds of fans toting umbrellas.

Flutie's touchdown pass on the final play sealed the win for the East squad.

"He's still got it!" said Nicolas Ryan, a Boston College student who made the trip to see his school's most famous alum get enshrined this weekend.

A youth clinic and autograph session followed the fun on the gridiron.

Twenty players and coaches are officially enshrined on Saturday night.
