SOUTH BEND -- Mustache mania has swept the Cove this summer, and the Silver Hawks are on board.

In case you missed it, the South Bend Silver Hawks have grown rather fond of growing facial hair. The trend started with pitcher Josh Collmenter, whose mustache has become the stuff of legend in the locker room. Now, a bunch of his teammates have joined in the fun.

The recent facial fad prompted the Silver Hawks to dub July 23rd "Josh Collmenter Mustache Night". Any fan who shows up at the gate, sporting a mustache, gets in free.
